Does God replace bad science?

It has been suggested that when scientific evidence is proven false that this clearly points to God.

"Science is often wrong, and God fills the gaps" leaves the intellectual wanting something more.

It has been suggested that when scientific evidence is proven false that this clearly points to God. The problem is that this doesn't prove God. What it does is gives the inquisitive mind a desire to get more questions answered.

The academically honest and hungry want to learn more, and it ought to be celebrated.

Science doesn't explain God away. That is a false dichotomy. It simply describes that which God has created and that which God is fundamentally working with like clay in the hands of a potter.

The more we learn about the world around us, the more we learn about God.

When a scientific point fails, it doesn't mean science has failed, just as when a Christian fails, it doesn't mean Christ has failed.

Rather, it means we ought to pursue Truth all the more.

What I'm going to say next won't resonate with the one who rejects the divinity of Jesus of Nazareth, but rather than outright rejecting Him, can we consider that someone like me, who rejects an unintelligent study of Truth, may have come to conclusions via means of research.

To truly understand the value of the information we gather, we must keep it rooted in the Bible and in Christ. That is the foundation upon which truths are built or shatter.

Science describes the life we see all around, the life that God created. There is something so spectacularly marvelous about the creation all around us.

Thousands of science books have been published,  often unintentionally describing what God has made. Some of them miss the theological mark. Some miss the factual mark. All of them attempt to describe what they see, and I hold to the belief that God happens to be the one behind it all.

1. Proverbs 25:2 speaks of seeking out the hidden things of God saying, "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings to search it out."

2. Colossians 1:16b-17 speaks of the way all things are in unity stating, "All things were created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together."
